Mounting Style
Radial calipers mount parallel to the axle, while axial calipers mount perpendicular.

Floating Calipers
These calipers are not fixed and can move linearly. One piston pushes the brake pad against the rotor, and the caliper body moves to apply pressure from the opposite side as well.
Fixed Calipers
These calipers are mounted securely and do not move. They have pistons on both sides of the rotor, providing even force distribution.
Sliding Calipers
Similar to floating calipers, but they slide along pins instead of moving linearly.
Differential Bore Calipers
Use different sized pistons to optimize braking performance.
